RFIJF Started Through an Online Platform

Erbil, KURDISTAN (November 3, 2020) - Rwanga Foundation announced the starting of the Rwanga Foras International Job Fair 2020 through a press conference.



This is the fifth job fair held by Rwanga Foundation, but this year, due to challenges that were caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the job fair is held online through a smart platform where young people can visit the companies and see the job opportunities, and can also watch a variety of trainings and panels through the same platform.

“We are always trying to take the initiative to build a positive impact, and the Rwanga Foras International Job Fair is one of these initiatives we have been holding annually since 2016." Although we did not expect the job fair to be this successful due to the current situations caused by the Corona virus this year, but we are so happy today to announce the RFIJF 2020 with the participation of more than 100 companies and organizations” said Abdul Salam Medeni, Chief Executive Director of Rwanga Foundation.


The Rwanga Foras International Job Fair 2020 will be available online for three days (November 3, 4 and 5) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. More than 100 companies and organizations have participated and published more than 5000 job vacancies.


Apart from job vacancies, young people can also benefit from the six different training courses that are conducted online through the platform on the topics of ‘employability skills mainly about CV Writing, Interview Techniques, and Work Ethics’.


In order to provide more opportunities for young people, more than 300 Internship opportunities are announced by the companies and organizations. The Rwanga forum will be held as one of the other activities during the fair, which will include three panel discussions, the panels will be held online and offline and will be broadcasted directly on the platform and the media channels.
