Alongside representatives from the European Union Delegation, NORAQ participating countries, the ministry of foreign affairs of Denmark, the ministry of foreign affairs of kingdom of Sweden, the Finnish Immigration Service, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration, ambassadors from Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands, and ICMPD representatives, Rwanga Foundation was invited to participate in the opening of the Migrant Resource Centre in Baghdad.
This centre has been established by the European Union and funded by the Government of Denmark, managing in coordination with the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displacement, and implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
As a partner in returnee projects, Rwanga Foundation remains committed to strengthening international partnerships and coordinating with governmental and international organizations to provide sustained support for returnees and ensure their successful reintegration into communities across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
