On World Cancer Day and under the motto "United by Unique,” Rwanga Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government and Salahaddin University-Erbil, organized the "CORE3: Cancer Observation, Research and Engagement" Symposium. The event was attended by, the Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Governor of Erbil, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of Salahaddin University-Erbil, university presidents and faculty members, researchers, physicians, civil society partners, party and government officials, and students. The symposium highlighted the latest advances in cancer surveillance, research, data, and awareness.
Throughout the symposium, multiple specialized keynote speeches and expert panels were presented, featuring cancer data from the Kurdistan Region. Selected research studies were also presented by physicians and researchers, providing participants with detailed and up-to-date information.
