Rwanga Foundation, in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the General Directorate of Labour and Social Security, has successfully concluded a pedagogy training programme for 25 staff members from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Erbil.
The training strengthens the pedagogical and leadership capacities of the ministry staff, with a focus on improving the quality, relevance, and delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across the Kurdistan Region.
Participants from Erbil, Soran, Sulaimani, Garmian, Chamchamal, Duhok, Zakho, and Halabja completed the programme and are now certified vocational trainers. They will apply their newly acquired competencies in public training centres, contributing to a stronger TVET system and better labour market outcomes for young women and men.
