Rwanga Foundation handed over the newly constructed building of Qaraoghlan Basic School and Goncagül Kindergarten in Kifri District. The handover took place at a ceremony attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, government and party officials, and local notables.
His Excellency “Nechirvan Barzani” personally funded the project directly and entrusted Rwanga Foundation with its implementation. The school stands on a site of 2,500 square metres. It has nine classrooms, biology and chemistry laboratories, a computer room, a sports ground, and more than 1,500 square metres of green space. Goncagül Kindergarten was also fully renovated, furnished with modern equipment, and provided with everything it needs.
