Rwanga Foundation Delivered Employability Courses to UKH students

Erbil, KRI (18-20 July 2022)- Rwanga Foundation in coordination with University of Kurdistan – Hawler’s Career Development Centre (CDC) delivered Five employability courses to University of Kurdistan Hawler (UKH) students.

 

The students received trainings in order to improve their skills and learn more about work ethics, employability and work habits. The main subjects that were discussed during the trainings were focusing on (creating a successful work habit, proactivity at work, ethnics in workspace, volunteering, design thinking).

 

The trainings were designed to prepare students for life after university and for the workplace, as well as to teach them how to be more proactive at work and to foresee potential difficulties. Workplace Professionalism and Strengthening Students' understanding of workplace ethics, the definition, extent, and scope of volunteers globally, volunteer rights, responsibilities, benefits, and incentives, the concept, and the five phases of Design thinking.

 

Overall, CDC provided 25 courses, delivered by specialized staff from UKH, Rwanga Foundation, U.S General Consulate in Erbil, IREX and Korek Telecom. Participants of these courses received participation certificates at the end of the training courses.
