Erbil, September 20th, 2023 - Rwanga Foundation and The Consulate general of the Czech Republic in Erbil, Proud to announce its Back to School initiative in Rovia, Duhok Governorate. This important event signifies the Foundation's continued commitment to improving education and enhancing the learning environment for the children of Rovia Highschool.

Building upon the success of last year's initiative, where Rwanga Foundation constructed additional school rooms, this year's efforts focus on providing essential resources and equipment, thanks to the financial support of the Consulate general of the Czech Republic in Erbil represented by the consul (Karel Kortánek), and the respected attendees including the mayor of Bardarsh, Director of Education at Bardarash, Director of Police, Director of the municipality and Abdulsalam Madani the Chief Executive Director  at Rwanga Foundation.

The Back-to-School initiative kicked off with an opening ceremony, followed by an event overview and a speech from a school representative, highlighting the importance of education in the region. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the renovated school premises and gain a detailed understanding of the donated equipment and resources.

Students proudly showcased their creative works, including sketches and drawings, after so, the event was concluded with a coffee break, refreshments, casual conversations, TV interviews, and expressions of appreciation to all participants and the importance of school supplies for students’ ideal kickstart.
