Today, in the presence of Mr. Idris Nechirvan Barzani, President and Founder of Rwanga Foundation, the completion ceremony for the Clean Energy Project in Sheikh Wasan village, located in Khoshnawati Valley within Balisan district, was held.
As part of the “Clean Energy” project, Rwanga Foundation provided a complete solar energy system for 68 residential units, as well as the village mosque, school, health center, and public hall.
Following the villages of Gulak in Harir, Grebi in Zakho, and Qamish in Mawat (Sulaymaniyah), Sheikh Wasan is the fourth village where Rwanga Foundation has implemented the Clean Energy project, providing 24-hour electricity through solar power.
