Rwanga Foundation, in coordination with the Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) in Iraq – Kurdistan Region, has provided 4000$ financial support to each of the 19 returnees across the cities of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, and Halabja to establish and expand their small businesses.
This support follows their successful participation and evaluation in a specialized business development workshop series delivered by Rwanga Foundation.
The initiative is implemented within the framework of the project “Empowering Sustainable Livelihoods: Enhancing the Reintegration of Returnees for Long-Term Prosperity in Iraq (2023–2026)”, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and implemented by Rwanga Foundation.
