Under the MYRP project, Rwanga Foundation conducted a capacity-building training for parent-teacher councils aimed at raising awareness regarding the Ministry of Education's integration policy that allows refugee and displaced students to integrate with local students in government schools.
During the training, participants were trained on how to adapt refugee children to the culture and language of the host community, particularly Kurmanji-speaking Kurdish refugee communities in Arbat, Saidsadiq, Ranya, and Qaladze.
MYRP is a multi-year resilience education project aimed at providing high-quality, inclusive education through psychosocial support for crisis-affected children. The project is funded by Education Cannot Wait (ECW), the United Nations global fund for education in emergencies and protracted crises, and is implemented through Save the Children International, where Rwanga Foundation serves as an implementing partner under the umbrella of Intersos and alongside PIN organization.
