Under the PROSPECTS Partnership and with the support of the Government of the Netherlands, the International Labour Organization (ILO), in partnership with Rwanga Foundation and in coordination with the General Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in the Kurdistan Region, presents a new vocational training program for youth in Erbil, Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, and Ninewa. This program includes a 45-day practical and vocational training designed to acquire real skills that align with labor market needs. The program is free and open to young men and women from host communities, refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and Returnees. Training fields include: solar energy, marketing, mobile phone repair, computer skills, mechanics, sewing, plumbing and heating, CCTV systems, air conditioning systems, and much more. This is not just training, but an opportunity to acquire real skills, gain self-confidence, and take an important step toward a professional future.
